Masks
EverDriven SCHOOLS video series – “Have You Heard”
We’re constantly in contact with the hundreds of districts we partner with across the country, and there are some truly amazing conversations happening right now on how we can get creative and adapt to whatever the new school year is going to look like.
One topic that is really standing out is masks. More specifically as they relate to your students’ transportation.
Since one of our specialties is providing transportation for students with special needs, most of our conversations with directors have revolved around what transportation for these students might look like come next year.
Of course all of the drivers will have masks, but let’s be honest for a second. It will be very difficult to ensure that some of our students will have them on and keep them on. We’re going to have to be a little extra patient, understanding, and compassionate because getting these students to school so they can receive an equal opportunity to education is still extremely important.
What topics are the focus of your district? Let us know so we can feature them here.
Our hope is that by giving you more insight into some of the things we’re hearing that it will help as you plan for what’s coming too. Transportation directors across the United States are being asked to come up with some creative options, and as their partner, we have been working with them to do just that.
Here at EverDriven, our mission is to give students with special transportation needs an equal opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. We understand that this school year is coming with some extra challenges but no matter what the challenges are, as we face them together, our students will benefit.
Let’s keep the conversation going, what topics are the focus of your district? Let us know so we can tackle them together!
