Our commitment to safety
As the nation’s leading alternative student transportation provider, safety is our #1 priority. EverDriven holds all drivers, monitors, and employees to the SafeRide Standard, the highest safety standard in the industry.
Additionally, all trips we service adhere to federal, state, local, and school district transportation requirements to ensure vulnerable students get to and from school safely.
Vehicles
We work hard to ensure each vehicle meets the unique needs of every student. Our EverSafe Drivers drive SUVs, wheelchair-accessible vans, minivans, and sedans compliant with federal, state, and local student transportation regulations.
EverDriven is the only alternative transportation company that requires all vehicles to pass a 51+ Point Inspection conducted by our own team AND an annual 3rd party inspection. Our 51+ Point Inspection includes an assessment of a vehicle’s interior/exterior condition and safety equipment.
Drivers
In order to meet the SafeRide Standard, EverSafe Drivers must pass 18 screening requirements before becoming SafeRide Certified and eligible to drive a single student. This includes:
- Federal, state, and local background checks
- Enrollment in a drug and alcohol consortium for pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and random testing
- County, State, and National Criminal Record Check
- Sex Offender Registration Check
- Proof of Insurance
- Complete PASS Training
Once SafeRide Certified, EverSafe Drivers are ready to hit the road with the support of our local Field Operations and Routing teams and our state-of-the-art Driver App.

Parents
We provide parents with complete transparency. The EverDriven VIP App gives parents, guardians, and family members access to their loved one’s trip. Parents can:
- Stay in the know with trip notifications
- Check on their child’s location with real-time tracking
- Cancel an upcoming trip

Also, our local Field Operations team will work directly with parents and guardians to ensure constant communication and support. Before a student’s first trip, our team will facilitate an introduction with parents to discuss our services, driver and vehicle information, and specific details about their child’s needs.
COVID-19
Throughout the pandemic, our unique service model allowed us to implement a wide range of health and safety regulations that vary from state to state and, in some cases, district to district. Because EverDriven takes a customized approach to meet the needs of our district partners, our teams have been able to meet each of these requirements on a case-by-case basis.
